You probably knew I was gonna be excited to see this! I am blown away by the arch in the background, it has so much depth and kinda reminds me of the lines that appear in MC11! Beautiful lighting n shading on this one, kinda reminds me of watercolour a bit, especially in Tricky's hair :D

StitchMiss responds:

MadCom brought us here, so this was the one I was most excited and most nervous to work on XD
I loved how the arch looked in the original and decided I could work to include it in a way that fit into the universe and themes ^-^ It was really fun to do and I'd love to try more background work like this for future Madness pieces :D I've always loved the careful details Krinkel's includes in his works o.o

Nice work, their faces made me laugh XD Something I've noticed is the way you've darkened the edges, it makes this look more like it's a painting :o

StitchMiss responds:

It just suits the creators perfectly XD
Thank you so much ^-^ I think its a technique I picked up when I learnt oil painting o.o That was such a nightmare because the lecturer was one of 'those' types. Forbid us from using black paint and kept saying we weren't doing brush marks correctly, but never taught us why our way was wrong x_X It was a rough year XD

I love all the varied line thickness going on the texture, the shading :o I dunno how, but you've recreated both the comic style and the FNF style at the same time, and it's epic! :D

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^o^ This was so hard to get right XD I couldn't find any other art period that could properly match the FNF style, so I had to return to Pop Art for help. Really happy with the final result ^-^

Great stuff, love the lineart! There's something so satisfying about seeing all the patches of lines in the shading that all flow in one direction :o

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much ^o^ I was trying to replicate the style of the original album art that VariableGR did :D Really glad it turned out alright!

You're doing amazingly well at portraying the style of the original artist, I saw the motion lines and colours and knew it was Mr. Haring! I also love the detail of the pencil drawing stuff in, that's so creative :D

StitchMiss responds:

He has such an awesome style that is so recognizable but so perfect for the period ^-^ Really enjoyed studying his works in college. It felt perfect for the Fancy Pants franchise, and suited the bright colors and themes :D Really had fun with this one!

Whoa, this is so fitting! Whenever I see ENA characters, I'm reminded of Cubism. I really like the use of brushes in this one, adds so much texture and interest :o

StitchMiss responds:

Cubism and ENA work together perfectly ^o^ This made for such a fun piece to create and I learnt a lot of new tricks for brush textures that I'd love to use in future works o.o

These two are so cute in your style! You always do such an amazing job at conveying liveliness and energy in characters :D

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^o^ I adore drawing other artist's characters when I have the opportunity to, especially when they have fun designs like this where I can try and give them my own sort of twist to the original ^-^

Something I think you're amazing at is drawing cloth and fabric, it looks so natural :o I know Gould would love this, his world lives on in this piece :)

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^-^ I am glad I've gotten better with fabrics. I still struggle with capes and long coats on occasion but I keep trying to perfect those more challenging pieces.
His story really inspired me when I first learnt about the history of his series. He is a legend not only on NG, but for Flash animation as a whole ^-^ Glad I could do this piece for him and his series.

This is great, instantly recognised the Pop Art style! I love silkscreen printing, it's something that I took up temporarily a while back, I adore how clean and simple the prints can be but Warhol's took on a whole new level of complexity! You've mastered his iconic look :D

StitchMiss responds:

That is awesome o.o I've tried lino and etching in the past and...just couldn't wrap my head around it (plus it got pricey to try and persue it outside of school), but I would had loved to hard tried silkscreen work! :D It looks like great fun!
Thank you so much! ^-^ He was amongst my fav artists to learn about, given the grim topics he tried to cover and discuss.

The brown outline around the main lineart makes this pop! I like the way you've blocked the lighting on, and this is overall just really cute :D

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^-^ These are the characters I struggle with when it comes to 'complexly' details works XD You wanna keep the original style, while also making the reference clear to the original work. I tried doing the ethereal look for Blockhead here. I'm glad it translated well in the end :D

Mostly into Madness Combat right now. I make traditional and digital drawings.
Didn't think my username through. It is true, but it I'm heavily embarrassed by it lol
