These two are so cute in your style! You always do such an amazing job at conveying liveliness and energy in characters :D

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^o^ I adore drawing other artist's characters when I have the opportunity to, especially when they have fun designs like this where I can try and give them my own sort of twist to the original ^-^

Something I think you're amazing at is drawing cloth and fabric, it looks so natural :o I know Gould would love this, his world lives on in this piece :)

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^-^ I am glad I've gotten better with fabrics. I still struggle with capes and long coats on occasion but I keep trying to perfect those more challenging pieces.
His story really inspired me when I first learnt about the history of his series. He is a legend not only on NG, but for Flash animation as a whole ^-^ Glad I could do this piece for him and his series.

This is great, instantly recognised the Pop Art style! I love silkscreen printing, it's something that I took up temporarily a while back, I adore how clean and simple the prints can be but Warhol's took on a whole new level of complexity! You've mastered his iconic look :D

StitchMiss responds:

That is awesome o.o I've tried lino and etching in the past and...just couldn't wrap my head around it (plus it got pricey to try and persue it outside of school), but I would had loved to hard tried silkscreen work! :D It looks like great fun!
Thank you so much! ^-^ He was amongst my fav artists to learn about, given the grim topics he tried to cover and discuss.

The brown outline around the main lineart makes this pop! I like the way you've blocked the lighting on, and this is overall just really cute :D

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^-^ These are the characters I struggle with when it comes to 'complexly' details works XD You wanna keep the original style, while also making the reference clear to the original work. I tried doing the ethereal look for Blockhead here. I'm glad it translated well in the end :D

These just keep getting better! The realism is stunning, I can see each little hair and each bunch of leaves :D Like each piece on this series, the texture and tone is amazing :o

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much ^o^ This one was very challenging XD I don't mind doing semi-realism type pieces but usually in black and white with maybe a touch of color - I like outlines. This one, I just had brushes and smudges at my disposal. It was great practice and I am so glad it turned out alright :D But it was a daunting one to give a go XD

I'd like to think that the cereal is made of all the guys killed in Slaughter Time lol

GlitchArtTV responds:

how do you know?

This has got so much depth :o I really love the texture of this one, it gives it a really natural look :D Amazing work!

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^-^ It was a bit challenging doing a profile like this for a character with no nose o.o It's how I learnt profiles to being with XD It made for a fun piece to play around with, especially with affects to give it a more arty look. Really glad it turned out alright :D

I think this is the best one so far! The vibe is so similar to the original, and the lighting and ambience is spot on! :D

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much ^o^ Definitely one of my favs, loved doing those wispy clouds :D

Really nice, the subtle little splotches of red really build depth and vibrance! Really neat clouds again, also I find it super satisfying to look at your versions next to the reference pieces :o

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much for the great review ^o^
I originally only planned on posting my version, and would include the original inspirations in the brochure with all the details, but I liked the idea of allowing viewers to see the comparison, to show the art period and style I was going for ^-^ It's what I enjoyed most with this project - learning new brush techniques that I could replicate digitally, and how vastly different each era was :D

It might've been tough to draw, but I think this piece turned out extra cool, there's a great balance between the painted style and the Castle Crashers style :D the colours from the background bounce off of the foreground characters, blending them together perfectly!

StitchMiss responds:

Thank you so much! ^o^ I started the background first and began to realize...these styles are VERY different XD I am glad I was able to blend them together somehow, and it helped a lot with later pieces (I struggled for ages getting something ready for Friday Nite Funkin'. Had three drafted pieces for that one!)

Mostly into Madness Combat right now. I make traditional and digital drawings.
Didn't think my username through. It is true, but it I'm heavily embarrassed by it lol
